Mechanism of RBM effects in liquid desiccant process was analyzed. Experiments were conducted to test RBM effect in the process of dehumidification and regeneration
as well as RBM effects on performance of heat and mass transfer. The results show that: RBM effect is triggered by the surface tension gradient and density gradient in radial and flow direction
which are caused by heat and mass transfer between air and solution. RBM effect has significant effect on the efficiency of heat and mass transfer rate and wetting rate,and the effect varies greatly due to different heat and mass exchange conditions .
