Comparative assessment on the cycle performances of trifluoroiodomethane(CF 3I)
CFC12
HFC134a
HC600
HC290
HFC152a/HCFC22
and CF 3I/HC290 was carried out theoretically under standard and various refrigerator working conditions. The results show that CF 3I and CF 3I/HC290 with CF 3I's mole fraction in range of 0.5-65 are potential substitutes to CFC12 for refrigerator applications.
