The current greenhouse effect and the "dual-carbon" goal set off a new wave of refrigerant substitution
requiring new refrigerants need to achieve a comprehensive balance between environmental protection
safety and thermal properties. However
there is no perfect alternative refrigerant
such as the low ODP
GWP refrigerants R290
R32
R1234yf
etc.
which have attracted much attention
and most of them have flammability and safety hazards. Finding matching flame retardants with excellent overall performance for these environmentally friendly flammable refrigerants has become one of the important directions of refrigerant substitution research at this stage. This paper summarises the research progress of matching flame retardants for combustible refrigerants in recent years
mainly focusing on different kinds of flame retardants
outlines the evaluation of their flame retardant effects on different combustible work materials
analyses the application prospects and future development trends from the perspectives of flame retardant performance
flame retardant effect
flame retardant mechanism and environmental performance
and gives suggestions for the selection of matching flame retardants for combustible work materials.
