    • Review of Study on Flow and Heat Transfer of Ice Slurry

      摘要:The characteristics and applications of ice slurry are described.The concept of the equivalent specific heat of solid-liquid two-phase flow and the difficulty when it is used in ice slurry are discussed.The heat transfer performance,the rheology,flow patterns,the viscosity,and the pressure drop of ice slurry are reviewed.The phenomena of dividing layer resulted from the density difference of the ice crystal and water in ice slurry flow in different flow velocities are analyzed.Finally,some further studies on ice slurry are suggested.

    • Condensation Heat Transfer of CO2 on Horizontal Low-finned Tubes

      摘要:Condensation heat transfer models of refrigerant outside horizontal low-finned tubes were surveyed.Thermodynamic properties of carbon dioxide were present.Surface tension effects on condensate retention angle and condensation heat transfer coefficient of carbon dioxide were studied.Effects of fin density and size upon fin efficiency,retention angle,condensation heat transfer coefficient,and heat transfer enhancement ratio were analyzed.Optimum fin size and heat transfer enhancement ratio were obtained.The generated results for a finned tube with a root diameter of 20 mm is that optimum fin density is 435 fins per meter,optimum fin height is 5.1 mm,and optimum fin pitch is 2.3 mm.

      摘要:Many researchers are interested in energy storage system which is effective in saving energy and solving electricity peak-on shortage .The working principle,process,thermodynamic properties,and economic comparison of the potential energy storage system which uses H_2O/LiBr as working fluid were analyzed.The results show that this system balances electricity network load,e.g.shift peak-on and peak-off.Moreover,it has other advantages such as its larger energy storage density(400 kJ/kg when its coefficient of performance is 4.3),feasibility to utilize many kinds of energy resources(solar energy,soil heat energy,industry waste heat and so on),simple system,and working fluid friendly to our surroundings.It is an economic system that requires less investment and its gross profit is seven times larger than that of ice storage system in ten years.

      摘要:Heat-transfer characteristics during melting of KCl-H_2O were determined for internal ice-on-coil cool storage system.The effects of coolant inlet temperature on the heat-transfer characteristics were primarily analyzed.Heat transfer from tube to the phase change material is strongly influenced by natural convection of melted PCM after the comparison of the values between experiment and calculation based on conduction.The amounts of cool discharging were correlated with the dimensionless groups of Fo,Ste,and Re.

      摘要:The Carnot analysis method was proposed for the simplification of the thermodynamic analysis of the absorption cycle,by the comparison of the absorption cycle and the compression cycle.The system with two evaporators and two absorbers that is suitable for the large temperature difference of chilling water was developed through the investigation of the energy conversion in the cycle.In addition,the Carnot model of the present system was established and its efficiency of the ideal cycle was obtained.Then the effects of the different heat resources and relevant parameters on the efficiency were evaluated and the efficiency difference between the present system and the simple cycle was compared.The present system with two evaporators and two absorbers may improve the efficiency of the absorption cycle.

      摘要:A modified design calculation program was developed for gas coolers using the mean temperature difference method.Since the variable thermophysical properties of supercritical CO_2 significantly influence the convection heat transfer in tubes,the thermodynamic and transport properties of supercritical CO_2 used in the calculations were determined with REFPROP7.0.The two most recent published correlations for in-tube cooling were also used in the program.The results show no notable difference between the two correlations.The in-tube pressure drop predicted is also quite small.

      摘要:States the characteristics of the condensing-temperature control in variable condenser water flow of central air-conditioning systems. Analyses the effects of variable condenser water flow on COP of centrifugal chillers.Indicates that although the negative effect is not negligible,it is less than the positive effect on pump's energy-saving and the condensing-temperature control is helpful to the resulting energy-saving for air-conditioning systems by combining with an example.
