      摘要:The metal hydride heat pump /air conditioning (MHHP/AC) system is a new technique of energy conservation and environmental protection. The operating principle, feature and advantage of the MHHP/AC systems are stated. The history and status of experimental and theoretical studies on the MHHP/AC are described. Some published literatures on MHHP/AC systems are summarized. How to enhance the performance of the hydrogen storage alloys and the heat transfer on the MHHP/air conditioning systems are analyzed. Numerical simulation research on the MHHP/AC is reviewed.

    • Application and Development of High Temperature Heat Pumps in China

      摘要:The situation is described about application and development of the high temperature heat pumps (HTHP) in China recently. Some engineering examples and systematic parameters of the HTHP are stated. Some published research conclusions of the HTHP are summarized, such as working fluids for the HTHP and parts matching. According to above information, some shortcomings of current studies are pointed out and the future directions of research and development are suggested.

      摘要:A reasonable mathematical model describing the working processes of scroll compressors was presented to analyze the influence of lubricating oil content on compressors performance. The relation curves of oil content to the volumetric efficiency, input power, discharge temperature, refrigerating output, and COP were obtained. Moreover, to verify the computing results,experiments under the conditions of various speeds, various oil contents, and various working conditions were performed at a test rig for automobile scroll compressors. The results show that the best oil content is 7%-9%.

    • Experimental Study on Vapor Pressure of Isobutane(R600a)

      摘要:The vapor pressure of isobutane (R600a) was measured using a modified Burnett PvTx apparatus at temperatures from 253 to 393 K and pressures from 73 to 2833 kPa. The measurement uncertainties were estimated to be within for temperature and within for pressure. A new vapor pressure equation was developed to represent the experimental data of R600a. The present equation was also compared with available literature data. The normal boiling point and acentric factor of R600a were also determined.

      摘要:The purpose of this study is to prepare some basic experimental data for mechanism study of Marangoni effect and to look for some more effective additives to substitute 2-ethyl-1-hexanol or 1-octanol which are widely used in lithium bromide absorption refrigeration system. In present study, absorption of water vapor into the 62 wt% lithium bromide solution with several six-carbon and seven-carbon alcohol additives such as 4-methyl-2-pentanol, 2-ethyl-1-butanol, 1-hexanol, 2,4-dimethyl-3-pentanol, 4-heptanol, 2-heptanol, and 1-heptanol were investigated by using a simple stagnant pool absorber. The results show that effects of 1-hexanol and 1-heptanol on absorption of water vapor into aqueous lithium bromide solution are better than those of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol.

    • Cycle Analysis of Heating and Refrigeration in New Air-source Heat Pump

      摘要:An air source heat pump operating in cascade cycle way was presented. The new-type heat pump can operate not only in a single-stage cycle, but also in a cascade cycle. The operation performance of the heat pump was stimulated. The results indicate that, in the extremely cold conditions, the heat pump obtains large heating, high COP, small compression ratio, and low discharge temperature. For heating, the heat pump operates in conditions of optimal control to maximize energy-saving. It provides a favorable approach for extending the applicable range of the heat pump and conserving energy in cold regions.

      摘要:Accurate solution and approximate integral methods were applied to study the heat transfer properties of a kind of phase-change material developed in this study which contained in a slab enclosure during solidification. The movement of phase-change interface, the heat flux rate of the boundary, and the relationship of the thickness of slab and the predicted time of solidification under different cooling conditions were obtained. The calculated results seem to be in good agreement with the experimental values. It is found that the thicker of the solid, the smaller the heat flux rate; the lower the temperature of the cooling liquid and the thinner of the slab, the shorter the cool charging time.

    • Study on Regional SEER of Frequency Conversion Room Air Conditioner

      摘要:The calculated formula of SEER in JRA4046-1999 and GB7725 was analyzed and modified for convenient use. The map of Chinese temperature-strip was given and the weather data for eight cities near 30 years were selected. On the basis of these weather data and the temperature-strip in GB7725, the regional SEER of frequency conversion room air conditioner was calculated in the different regions. It is concluded that the regional SEER is an important parameter for frequency conversion room air conditioner. Some measurements were suggested to improve the energy efficiency ratio for energy saving and the whole seasonal energy efficiency ratio.

    • Enthalpy-composition Diagram Plotting for R134a/R23

      摘要:R134a/R23 is a new refrigerant mixture and friendly to environment. In this research, the vapor-liquid equilibrium, enthalpy, and entropy of this mixture were calculated based on Peng-Robinson(PR)equation of state(EOS). To make PR equation more accurate, a correction factor was correlated and the fugacity coefficient and complementary function were recalculated. According to the result from this calculation, an enthalpy-composition diagram was plotted, which supplies important data for thermophysical properties and cycle analysis of R134a/R23.
