      摘要:In this study, a typical boiling surface enhanced boiling heat exchanger tube was described and studied experimentally. When R134a is used as the refrigerant, the overall heat transfer coefficient and the outside heat transfer coefficient for this tube are 2.2-2.6 times and 1.3-1.9 times respectively as large as that of ordinary low-finned tubes at the low heat flux, the steady water inlet temperature, and the different water flow rates.

      摘要:Accurate calculation of freezing time of foods is important for optimum design and operation of a food freezer. In this study, freezing time of foods was divided into three stages that are pre-cooling time, freezing time, and super cooling time. The dynamic calculation models were constructed for these three stages respectively. Based on the study of the finite cyclical foodstuff, the models are confirmed to be reliable by comparing the calculating results with the experimental data.

      摘要:The spliter is an important parameter in designing the static gas wave refrigerator. In this research, the influence of the spliter upon character of static gas wave refrigerator was investigated byexperiments. The fluidic occurred to switch when the spliter location was small while the fluidic did not switch when the spliter location was big. The oscillation frequency only was the function of oscillating tube length, not influenced by the spliter. However, the spliter location directly influenced the refrigeration efficiency which decreased when the spliter location increased. Under the distinct operation condition, the spliter location had a most reasonable value accordingly.

    • Theory Analysis on A Refrigerant Alternative to R12 in Centrifugal Chillers

      摘要:According to special requirements of refrigerants used in centrifugal chillers, a new ternary mixture alternative, LXR2a, was proposed. The basic thermophysical properties and cycle performances of LXR2a were compared with those of R12. Moreover, the effects of different evaporating temperature, condensing temperature, super-heating temperature, and super-cooling temperature on the cycle performances were simulated. In addition, the leakage simulation was analyzed. The results show that LXR2a is a drop-in refrigerant with good performances and it may be a medium-term alternative to R12 in centrifugal chillers.

      摘要:In order to reduce the consumption of oil and improve the motivity of the automobile, the authors used the ICE's engine block, cylinder liners, and cylinder headers as the generator of the absorption refrigeration system, and the lithium bromide solution was charged into the engine cooling cavities, which might realize the objective using one single-effect lithium-bromide absorption hot-cold water unit to replace the automobile air conditioning refrigeration and heating system and the automobile engine cooling system. Through the theoretical analysis using thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hydrodynamics, the authors find that it is practical to use this project for its simple and compact structure. This device is of great value to the future research and development of the automobile air conditioning system.

    • Study on Vapor Pressure of Liquid Desiccants Solution

      摘要:The vapor pressure of desiccants solution has great impact on the performance of the liquid desiccant air-conditioning system. Calcium chloride is the cheapest and most readily available desiccant, but it has the disadvantage of higher vapor pressure, lithium chloride is the most stable desiccant, but its cost is relatively high. To stabilize calcium chloride and to decrease the high cost of lithium chloride, the two can be mixed in different weight combinations. In this research, the vapor pressure of some desiccants, such as calcium chloride, lithium chloride, and the mixture of calcium chloride and lithium chloride was analyzed and calculated using the classical thermodynamics approach. The calculated values agree well with the experimental data. This method can be used to predict vapor pressure of the new desiccants and offer a theoretical basis to choose liquid desiccants in the design of liquid desiccant air-conditioning system.

    • Analysis of Run Economy of Liquid Carbon Dioxide Refrigerated Lorry

      摘要:Recently, the development and application of the 3rd generation of new refrigerated resource, typically liquid carbon dioxide, has become an important study of developing refrigerated transportation. Comparison with the mechanical refrigerated lorry and the cooling board lorry, the liquid carbon dioxide refrigerated lorry has better predominance from the point of view of economy and environment. This paper mainly analyzes the economy of those three ways of refrigeration from initial investment, depreciation and maintenance costs of equipment, and the cost of energy consumption. The results show that the run fee of the mechanical refrigerated lorry and the run fee of the cooling board are 42% and 28% individually higher than that of the liquid carbon dioxide refrigerated lorry.

      摘要:Household refrigerating appliances play an important role in our family life for their function of improving food storage-quality and prolonging food storage-time. Arrangement of the refrigerating chamber and the freezer greatly influences the temperature field and the flow field inside the refrigerator and energy cost of the refrigerator. Simulation of the temperature field and flow field inside the refrigerating chamber and the freezer in different arrangement indicates that household refrigerating appliances with the freezer on top, compared with the refrigerating chamber on top, have many advantages, such as rationality of temperature distribution, convenience of food-storage, and lower energy cost.

    • Modification of Top Profile with Trigonometric Curve for Scroll Compressor

      摘要:In this study, the geometry theory of top profile with trigonometric curve was presented based on research on the engaging principle of scroll compressors. General modification equations were given and various modifying patterns were discussed. The equidistant method was employed to calculate the volume of the compression chamber and a general equation was described. Modification parameters that affect the shape of top scroll, volume-reduction ratio, and gas forces were analyzed systematically, and the relations between them were accurately determined. The regularity between variation of modification parameters and that of volume efficiency and leakage loss was summarized. The condition for transformation between trigonometric-curve modification and arc-shape-curve modification was explained. The results can also be applied to modification of top profile in other scroll-type machines.

    • Heat Transfer Characters of Non-azeotropic Mixtures in Evaporator

      摘要:In order to know heat transfer characters of non-azeotropic mixtures in the evaporator of air conditioner or heat pump systems, and to understand special function of temperature gliding in engineering, the theoretical analysis was carried out using heat transfer and thermodynamics theories. The results show that the non-azeotropic mixtures had less energy loss than single fluids. In addition, it is found that the maximum evaporation medium flow rate occurred in heat transfer process. Finally, the maximum evaporation medium flow rates and energy loss were predicted for some popular non-azeotropic mixtures including R407c, R405a, and R414b.

    • Numerical Simulation of Air Flow Field in Freezer

      摘要:The inner channel flow fields in the belt freezer were calculated with the transmission belt moving by use of the PHOENICS code.The effects of the belt moving,the inlet air velcoity,different heights of channel and incidence angles on inner flow fields were analyzed.It is indicated that the moving of the transmission belt had no influence on the air velocity distribution along the transmission belt in normal working condition of the belt freezer.The selections of the inlet air velocity and heights of the channel should be considered synthetically of magnitudes, uniformities of air velocity and losses of air flow,and the best angle of incidence was zero.
