Instructions for Author

In order to ensure the quality of the journal, according to the relevant national standards and the actual situation of the journal, the instructions of submission are specially written, and authors are expected to read carefully before submission. The formal review items mentioned in the notice (√) will be rejected in the preliminary screening process if they do not meet the requirements.

1. Journal information

1) Journal of Refrigeration has been included in the databases of major Chinese core journals and other international databases, such as American Chemical Abstracts (CA), Japan Science and Technology Promotion Agency Database (JST), Chinese Core Journal Database (Peking University Core), China Science and Technology Core Journal Database (CSTPCD CITIC Institute Core), China Science Citation Database (CSCD Chinese Academy of Sciences Core), Database of Annual Report of Impact Factors of Chinese Academic Journals (CNKI), China Academic Journal Abstracts Database (CSAC), China Core Journals (Selection) Database (WANFANG DATA), Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database (VIP), China Academic Journal Database (CSPD), RCCSE China Core Academic Journal (A) Database (Wuhan University core), EBSCO Database, Scopus Database, etc. The royalties paid by the journal to the authors include the copyright royalties of the journal and the above-mentioned databases (including the electronic version and the online version). If the author does not agree to include the article in such database, please make a written statement on the front page of the article when submitting, and the journal will deal with it accordingly.

2) After the manuscript is accepted, the journal will charge publication fee and release the manuscript fee. Please refer to the relevant regulations on page charge for details.

3) After the manuscript is accepted, the author may apply for Online First Publishing. The editor will make basic typesetting and content modification according to relevant regulations of the state, and then upload the paper to the website of the journal and CNKI.

4) After the manuscript is accepted, the editor will proofread and revise the text and expression of the paper according to relevant national publishing standards. Some revisions (such as picture style adjustment) should be completed by the author. Please keep the author's phone open for communication and confirmation.

5) Once the paper is published, two volumes of the publication will be donated. If you need more publications, please purchase them separately. Due to the long publishing cycle of paper journals, if the author's mailing address changes, please update it in the system in time.

 

2. Basic requirements of the paper

1) The author of the paper should abide by the "author's responsibility" in the Publication Ethics Statement of Journal of Refrigeration.

2) The journal employs the CNKI plagiarism detection system to check all submissions, research paper repetition rate of less than 5%, review paper repetition rate of less than 10% (√)

3) The paper should be innovative, scientific, accurate and readable. (Readability √)

4) The content of the paper conforms to the publication scope of Journal of Refrigeration, written in Chinese, and must be in word format. The research paper shall not exceed 8 pages, and the review paper shall not exceed 12 pages. (√)

5) The paper should include key elements such as submission description, paper title, author name, author unit and postcode, abstract, key words, fund project information, introduction of corresponding authors (both in Chinese and English), body text, and references. (√)

3. Basic requirements for each element (√)

The basic requirements of each element are as follows. For the specific modification requirements of this paper, please refer to the Manuscript Format Requirements (2024).

3.1 Submission Instructions

The first author (or corresponding author) should attach the following information (separate from the paper and submit it in the form of an attachment at the time of submission) :

1) A brief statement of the importance of the paper in the field of study.

2) May suggest 3 ~ 5 reviewers (attached unit, contact information, mailing address and postcode).

3.2 Paper title

Can indicate the topic of the paper, avoid vague, generally no more than 25 Chinese characters, foreign abbreviations do not appear in the title.

3.3 Author's information

Place the author's name in order under the title. Generally, the byline is sorted according to the size of the author's contribution. After the article is accepted, it is not acceptable to modify and add or subtract the author of the paper. The attribution unit must be the unit where the research was actually completed. The full name of the unit should be written in both Chinese and English, and the city name and postal code of the unit should also be provided.

3.4 Abstract

Please describe the main ideas of the paper in the third person. For the research paper, you should write a report abstract of about 300 words, which should include the necessary purpose, research methods, experimental materials, research results and conclusions and other specific experimental research data.

3.5 Keywords

In order that the paper can be accurately retrieved by readers in various databases, the key words should be closely related to the topic of the article, and the standardized subject words should be used as far as possible. Must list the Chinese and English corresponding keywords 4~5 reflecting the characteristics of the content of the document, according to the importance from high to the end, the range from large to small rules, with a semicolon "；" space between them. Can use the term online website (https://www.termonline.cn/) to inspect, or in the list of keywords recommended in the 3.5 section of Manuscript Format Requirement (2024) to choose.

3.6 Fund Project Information

Please list the funding information of this paper, national fund under the home page, local fund after the paper before the references. After the article is accepted, it is not acceptable to modify or add or subtract the fund project name. For the specific expressions of various types of scientific funds in Chinese and English, please refer to section 3.6 of the Manuscript Format Requirement (2024).

The specific format of National fund (below the home page) : 国家科技支撑计划课题（XXXXXXX）。(The project was supported by the National Key Technology Research and Development Program (No. XXXXXXX).

Specific format of local fund (after the text and before the references) : 本文受天津市应用基础与前沿技术研究计划项目（XXXXXXX）资助。 (The project was supported by the Tianjin Research Program of Application Foundation and Advanced Technology (No. XXXXXXX).

3.7 Body

3.7.1 Frame. It should include four parts: introduction, body of the paper, results and discussion, and conclusion. The introduction section begins directly, do not add the introduction or foreword title and title serial number, such as "0 introduction". Briefly review the research history of the scientific problem involved in this article, and introduce the relevant theory or research background. It is necessary to list relevant references, especially the latest research results at home and abroad in the past 2-3 years. The purpose of this study and the differences from previous studies should be given very clearly, and on this basis, the problems to be solved in this paper should be proposed. The main part of the paper should introduce the methods and technical means used in this research in detail, introduce the main research results of the paper and discuss it, the point of view should be clear, and the arguments should be sufficient. The conclusion should be a concise summary of the thesis.

3.7.2 Chapter numbering. Chapter numbering of the document uses three level headings: Level 1 headings such as 1, 2, 3... ; Secondary headings such as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3... ; Tertiary headings such as 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3... .

3.7.3 Technical terms. Technical terms should be defined. Symbols, abbreviations or acronyms should be given their full names when they first appear in the abstract and body, and professional terms should be unified and standardized throughout the text. Can use the term online website (https://www.termonline.cn/) to inspect, or the recommended terminology in x.x section of the Manuscript Format Requirement (2024).

Professional terminology should first choose standardized terminology approved and published by the National Science and Technology Terminology Approval Committee (search website: https://www.termonline.cn/ ). The same professional terminology should be unified throughout the text. Symbols, abbreviations, or acronyms should be given their full names when they first appear in the abstract and main text. Professional names related to the refrigeration industry are recommended to be used in the GB/T 18517-2012 Terminology of Refrigeration.

3.7.4 Pictures. The picture title shall be expressed in both Chinese and English, and shall be placed in the corresponding position in the body according to the principle of "text before diagram". The resolution of the pictures is not less than 600 dpi. Text font in Song typeface small five and Times New Roman font with 7 pt Arabic numerals. Please try to provide original vector images that can be edited directly. The scale line of the picture should be in the upper right quadrant. Keep only the main number line and remove the minor number line if it is not necessary. Generally, the value of the mark does not exceed 3 digits, and the number of effective digits of each number line should be consistent (insufficient with 0), and the number of digits should be expressed by scientific counting or changed by marking the unit. The quantity and the unit are separated by "/". Do not frame the legend.

3.7.5 Table. Table title is expressed in both Chinese and English, generally using three-line table, in accordance with the principle of "text before table" placed in the corresponding position in the body.

3.7.6 Formula. Write in the Mathtype editor, do not insert as a picture. Formula serial numbers are numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and placed in parentheses to the right of the formula. The variables in the formula are indicated in italics.

3.7.7 Units of measurement. Correct use of legal units of measurement, physical quantity symbols, chemical element symbols, unit symbols, etc. Use/links between quantities and units in the chart, do not use brackets for single unit symbols, brackets can be used for compound units, for example: time /h, thermal conductivity /(W/(m·K)).

3.7.8 Citation annotation. When citing a document co-authored by more than one person, if the name is involved, only the name of the first author + etc. should be written, and the document serial number should be marked with a superscript after the author's name. Specific format demonstration: Zhang San et al ^[1] proposed XXX research method......

3.8 References

The references are numbered in the order in which they appear and supermarked with square brackets (e.g. :^[1]). At the end of the paper, the references are listed one by one in the order in which they are coded in the paper. Chinese references should be expressed in Chinese and English side by side, while English references should be written in English only. The references shall be recorded in the format required by the national standard GB/T 7714-2015, or refer to the example of the commonly used reference format description in section X.X of the Manuscript Format Requirements(2024). It is recommended to cite domestic and foreign references published in the past 3~5 years, with the exception of classic documents in the industry, and unpublished materials (such as internal materials, private communications, newspapers, and articles to be published) are not quoted.

3.9 Introduction of corresponding authors

At the end of the paper, please list the information of one corresponding author in both Chinese and English. The corresponding author should be the supervisor or the main person in charge of the research project. The brief introduction should include: name, gender, education background or position/title, working unit, contact number, E-mail address, and main research direction.
