Journal of Refrigeration is a national-level academic journal sponsored by China Association of Refrigeration, approved by China Association for Science and Technology and Ministry of Science and Technology. It was founded in 1979, bimonthly, six issues a year, 16 large format and distributed in domestic and abroad. 

Journal of Refrigeration mainly reflects the new achievements in science and technology in the fields of refrigeration technology such as low temperature and superconductivity, refrigeration machinery and equipment, food freezing, refrigeration technology, refrigerated transport, air conditioning and heating, ventilation engineering, cryogenic medicine and equipment, etc. It is the science and technology journal reflects the highest academic achievements of China refrigeration industry. It covers many subjects related to refrigeration technology such as Engineering Thermophysics, Dynamic Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Cryogenic Engineering, Ventilation & Air-conditioning  Engineering, Food Packaging & Storage, Cell Biology, etc.
