Abstract
Analysis of factors affecting frost is helpful to understand the frost formation mechanics and anti-frost methods. Based on the assumed conditions
effects of inlet air temperature
relative humidity
velocity and temperature of cold surface on frost amount and frost thickenss were analyzed by considering the mass and heat conservation during the frosting process. The calculated results show that the temperature of cold surface and the relative humidity of inlet air have a stronger effect on frosting than the velocity of inlet air.
