To calculate thermodynamic properties of ternary refrigerant mixtures
the binary interaction parameter of the NRTL excess Gibbs free-energy model for ten groups of HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) refrigerant mixtures were correlated by the vapor liquid equilibrium experimental data with the P-R equation of state and the Huron-Vidal original mixture rules in the study. At the same time
the vapor-liquid equilibrium of ternary refrigerant mixtures of R32/R125/R134a and R125/R143a/R134a has been predicted with determined interaction parameters.Calculated results showed a good agreement with the experimental data
especially the average deviations of bubble point pressure were less than 0.42%.At last
the characteristics of the refrigeration cycle with R32/R125 and R407c are analyzed and discussed.
